The book
A journey into the world of people who enjoy an unhurried drink in daylight: who they are, why they're there, and what the afternoon gives them. It travels from Stockholm to Madrid, Paris, Copenhagen, Asia and beyond, asking why a glass of wine at 2:45 in the afternoon raises eyebrows when a last round at 2:45 in the morning doesn't.
Why I'm talking to you
The heart of the book is the people at the corner tables. If you're happy to chat for a few minutes, I'd love to hear your story. There are no right answers and no wrong drinks.
